New Habits in Two Minutes
Back from my week off and feeling refreshed, I’ve started a few new habits for the second half of 2020 after reading James Clear’s excellent book Atomic Habits. I’m focusing on three in particular to build my morning routine and I’m limiting myself to what Clear calls the “two-minute rule” – doing no more than two minutes of each habit.
I’m going to try this for all of July with drinking water, meditating and exercising. I’ve tried all these before and have burned out and failed many times, so I hope by starting at two minutes I can build them into my identity and keep them going longer.
